re: Dr Kennedy - did you know him & Susan were divorced? I didn't. That's such a shame cos they were such a nice couple. Having said that, I think Karl had quite a stong influence on his youngest, Billy, cos I was watching House (with Hugh Laurie; Hugh being in House as opposed to sat next to me on the sofa etc) the other night and young Billy is now a junior doctor in that. Karl and Susan must be ever so proud!

Hey there buddy,
Long story but my itunes broke (don't ask!) and I only realised yesterday that I had been missing out on my weekly Guardian footy podcast for a couple of months.
Anyway in re-subscribing to it; I was reminded of those glamourous afternoons living the expat highlife in my flat in HK drinking tea and listening to healthy doses of sarcasm from James Richardson. For when you have 30 mins to kill, this is where u can get it from:
http://football.guardian.co.uk/footballweekly/ (just click on the 'listen now' function)
Keep up the good work!
Sandy
Merry Christmas Jonny boy!
I've come back to visit my folks for a couple of days, and good to see Man Utd leading the rest of the Premiership behind, I mean there hasn't been a story about s3xual assault and 'roasting' for ages until we got our acts together... oh and topping the table at the turn of the year is pretty sweet too.
Hope all is well in the land of the hard decisions: beer or wine; wake up late or wake up later...
Recall that hiking lark I was doing when you were over? Did that in just under 23 hours. That was an experience and a half, I can tell you!
Take it easy, mate
Dad
Good to hear all your news Jonny.
Make sure you don't have those bedbugs with you in your luggage - they are great travellers.
All well here, the Barnet are now in a play off position, while Reading languish.
Love Dad

Hope you're enjoying Laos, Jonny. we're thinking of you, as we return to the chalkface. Glad you kept your cool when the Lao lady hady a baby on the truck. Hope Ben, Dom, Jamie and me can maintain the same level of composure when it's our turn...
Dad
Brilliant report Jonny - thanks so much.
The Barnet won on Saturday and Reading have started with a series of stinkers.

Another string to your bow. Shame you'll miss your nephews/nieces arrivals, your midwifery skills might have come in useful. Great blogs keep them coming.
Tom
Have a great time in Laos, and enjoy yourself up in the trees with the gibbons.
Dad
Super postings Jonny, well done!
Katy
Err, just saw your pictures. Did those deer have a licence?

Congrats on passing the diving course - sorry you missed the sharks. Apparently there are now Great Whites off Cornwall, so we'll save you a shark till you get back. Keep safe,
Tom
