Didn't sleep in the tent last night. We felt adventurous and slept in our sleeping bags in front of our King size fire (did have one eye open making sure no snakes tried to cuddle us).
Found a cutie little echidna (Barkley) on the road- Mel was most impressed!
Went to Jenolan Caves and went through the 'Imperial' cave which was long and narrow and took us down to the underground river. Then the 'Nettle' cave which was more open and large.
"Jenolan Caves is the oldest cave formations in the world, with over 10 different cave options and more caves still being discovered every year".
The lake was a turquoise blue color because of the minerals from the limestone (pictured).
In the afternoon we went back to our caravan and had a little snoozie.
Also picked a nice bag of green apples from the tree across the road to take with us when we leave tomorrow!
Highlight today: Waking up next to the fire, Barkley the Echidna and Jenolan Caves!
