Didn't sleep in the tent last night. We felt adventurous and slept in our sleeping bags in front of our King size fire (did have one eye open making sure no snakes tried to cuddle us). Lazed around all day because we had a little party last night, read some books and had a hot shower in our tent. Went trout fishing for the evening and finally scored a good size trout yay, cooked him over the hot coals for tea (called him Morris). Highlight today: catching a fresh Trout!

Today we went into the pineforest and went mushrooming. We were looking for 'Saffron Milk Cups' which are orange fleshy mushrooms about 30cm wide (they were accidentally introduced to Australia when they bought in the pine trees). We found heaps and filled up our small cardboard box! Then we went Blackberry hunting in the thorn trees and got enough to use in a pie for tonights desert. Visited scenic world and went across on the skyway, the glass went clear as we crossed so we could see Katoomba Falls below us. Next we went to Echo Point and saw the three sisters, decided to hike down the Giant Staircase (900steep steps down to the valley) and walked 6km across the valley floor to the old coal train (this is the worlds steepest railway and tourists can ride in it down the cliff face).
