This morning we were up early to go on our 'National Pass' hike. It has been classified as hard but has won an award for being a great walk.
The hike took us over Wentworth Falls then out onto a ledge (as per photo) of the cliff face - which was horribly scary!!
The ledge was about 80mtrs in length then turned into a really steep descent down to the bottom of the falls. From their we passed under rocky ledges, through waterfalls and eventually up lots of rocky stairs back to the top. This is by far the best walk I have ever done (better than Wilsons Prom and Nepal!).
After our hike we headed to Leura and browsed some really cool shops, then on to Katoomba.
Scored the code to the showers at the caravan park (by pure luck) -so we are looking forward to a hot shower in the morning!
Had an afternoon nap and then walked to Leura Cascades which is beautiful.
We are camped in a little hollow just off the road near the cascades with a cliff on one side (hope I don't sleep walk tonight!).
Highlight today: National Pass hike and getting the code to the showers!!!
