Hi girls

Thought we would add another journal entry to let you know the goings on over the last couple of days. Just to warn you there are no photo's this week but we will try and get some for you before you return in LESS THAN 3 WEEKS!!

Anyway here it goes.............................

FRIDAY - Yep the working week came to an end, as we haven't really got many pennies in the bank we decided we were gonna have a quiet weekend to try and save what small amount we did have! Anyway we decided we were gonna go round JB's to chill with a few bev's and mong in front of the TV. Dan, Steve, Matt and Helen called round for a while whilst we watched the compulsory viewing of Jonathan Woss. JB did some more Steven Speilberg work to the Run to the Sun DVD. This is coming together nicely now and will have you in stitches!! Don't want to spoil any of it though so you can watch it when it is complete. Phil came in from a night out with his 4th lady within the last 2 weeks. This girl is a glamour model and is 18 years old, well we will have to see how this develops or will he kick her to the curb like his previous conquests?!?!?!?

SATURDAY - Something big happened today!!! JB finally got a go on the pitch for the first team with Maidstone. He got 15 minutes but now he has "got his foot in the door" this will hopefully lead to a weekly thing. So on Saturday JB played his football. Also still trying to save these pennies we decided to go to a house party of someone Dan works with, this was a fancy dress do which was toga themed - as you know us lad's aren't the keenest beans for dressing up!! So JB, Matt and Chris came to Dan's for pre drinks before, we decided to head to the party in our own clobber of course expecting to have a pretty decent night and something different from being out in Stone. When we got to the party the tumble weeds were come towards us from all angles! We walked into the house didn't see anyone we knew so made a quick getaway for it, we phoned Chris to ask him to pick us up as he was going to his own party then we left. It was official that it was the shortest time JB, Dan and Matt have ever spent at a party, no word of a lie we were there for about 2 minutes max! With our plans foiled we didn't know what to do so we did the norm and headed for Stone, it was a good night as it wasn't planned - always the best. We saw Mickey from The Bill in Ethos??? This meant a lot more to Matt than JB and Dan, which Dan later found out he was supposed to be at a charity event with Nigel (Gem your Dad) but text him to say that he had something that he had to do and couldn't get out of it. I don't think being out on the piss in Maidstone qualifies do you??? Nigel was seeing him today (Monday) at work and I think he was gonna say something for a laugh! We were "celebrities" ourselves when we were at Roadhouse or should I say "Maidstone wannabe celebs". JB and Matt tried blagging us in and said they were cousins of the Spillers. After serious investigation by Kev (man on the door) we queue jumped got straight to the bar and had a free drink in the apparent VIP area, it was good and a massive thanks to the Spillers for being them and to big Kev - you the man!!! lol. JB and Matt crashed back at Dan's after the night ended. Strange to be the other way round for once and Dan not crashing at JB or Matt's!!!

SUNDAY - Second big (ish) thing of the weekend, Dan got a new car!! Yep he got his black VW Golf GTI after looking at so many previous disasters he has found one that is finally decent!! Slightly nicer to the chavy boy Saxo! Anyway Sunday being Sunday the hangovers we flying high, JB played his Sunday football with Bearsted and Matt came with Dan to collect the car. Then it was all back to the Batt residence for the Sunday roast - lamb, a keen favourite amongst many. Very nice as always! Matt and Chris tried to fit new brake pads to Dan's car as they were wearing thin, whilst JB died in front of the tv. Just needed to mention that winter is defiantly coming so prepare yourselves for when you get back no Thailand here I'm afraid girls, Sunday was bloody freezing!! Uncle Paul brought the fireworks down for the annual Batt firework bash, lets hope they were as good as last year. Matt is in competition with Scott Mann's finale firework last year by getting one called "The Godfather" which retails at £220 so hopefully it's gonna be a good un!!

NEXT WEEK - JB, Dan and Matt are heading down to Brighton to see cousin Simon as I am sure you both already know, this should hopefully be a good weekend and we can have one final lads weekend before the ball and chain's, sorry I mean you guys come home!! Ha ha!! It is also Lewis' birthday so I am sure the rest of the guys will be out for that one. Perhaps we could get them to take a camera with them and us as well then we can have the pictures for both events. Always thinking...... We have all taken the Friday off work so we can make the most of it. Also hopefully JB will get another go on the pitch and also Dan has got a job interview in another department of CAF, so we will have to wait and see what happens about these things. We will keep you posted.

FINAL WEEK OF JB & DAN'S CRAZY ADVENTURE - Yes that's right, the 6 months has flown by since you have gone and so has our journal updating, this will be the final instalment of our Crazy Summer Adventure, just to give you a brief outline what we have got planned until you guys are home (obviously we will update properly once the events have actually happened!). We have a party on the 27th for Collin (Laura's boyfriend) on the Friday and on the Saturday we have the notorious quiz night at Sandling where we will try our best to be one position higher than we were at the last quiz earlier in the journal, so rather than second to last we need to try and push for third to last!! Could be tough!! Halloween party has been scrapped now but we are looking to arrange another one soon - maybe New Year????? Then finally JB and Dan have 'the trip' to Heathrow airport were we should see some familiar faces.................................................................

Ok girls make the most of your last 2 and a bit weeks, once in a life time thing so don't waste it.
