Yep, Mexico now feels like a distant memory 3 weeks tomorrow since we have been back but it actually feels about 3 years ago. Thought we better put an entry on our journal as things have been drying up. Well this weekend: FRIDAY: JB, Matt and Helen came round Dan's for a couple of pre drinks before we headed into the wonderful town that is Maidstone. Once in town we meet Nicola and Laura Nixey in the new (ish) Japense bar, we then headed to Muggs followed by The Source Bar and finally ended up in Ethos (where Gabriels used to be - minus Matt and Helen who left after The Source Bar). For once at the weekend JB crashed at Dan's rather than the other way round. JB is currently driving at the weekends to concentrate on Football which is handy for the rest of us! SATURDAY - It was KFC all round today - we all had a bit of colonels chicken for lunch. JB went to watch Bearsted play football while Dan and Matt watched V for Vendetta (which was such a disappointment it was unreal!). The evening came and someone must have drugged us as we agreed to go to the Malta for a drink (although that has all been refurbished as well - no bars/pubs are gonna look the same when you get back). After a couple of beers (cokes for JB) we decided to go to Steve's hottub for a Saturday night dip so JB, Dan, obviously Steve, Chris, Nicola, and Lewis all went to Steve's where we were later joined by Jodie (Chris's lass if you wasn't sure). So we all jumped in (not Nicola and Lewis) and chilled out - yes you were probably wondering what happened to the naked Mel, that's right she wasn't there so no naked hot tub this time! SUNDAY - As always the recover from a weekend day where you watch C4/E4 all day. Although JB did go golf with Chris - he wouldn't have been able to do this if he was drinking the night before! That's about it really, next week JB is getting kicked out from his room as relatives are staying, Dan has got a BBQ on the Saturday to try and get everyone together before the summer is over!
