Well it was non stop boozing for us this weekend what with it being JB's quarter of a century! It was a weekend that included 2 nights out and 3 BBQ's! So many BBQ's that I have BBQ sausage in my lunch at work today(just to make you jealous Mel)! Here is what happened: FRIDAY - Well the end of the working day on Friday could not come quick enough! What with it being J's birthday we were all gagging for that Friday night beer! So we made our way into town to meet up with the guys whom consisted of JB, Dan, Helen, Matt, Nicola, Lewis, Steve, Emma, Laura and Chris. Not a bad turn out and we started at 8 in Muggletons which is now a Lloyds bar! We were a bit shocked because it's been refurbed and they now play music which when we got there was funky house which put everyone in a good mood! After a few bevies we decided that instead of just going out for a few as planned we would hit the source bar to carry on the party mood we were in after the tunes in Mugs. . . so on to the Source bar (our new favorite hang out) and we found ourselves drinking cocktails out of Yard glasses! Eventually we left and brought the customary Subway that we have all come to love. Dan had decided that this weekend he would try and stay at his own house for once, hmm that never quite happened . . . SATURDAY - JB's BBQ which saw us sitting in the garden all day drinking beer, not a bad life! Had a really wicked day, was soo nice to just chill out all day with nice food, drink, weather and tunes on. Mel your parents came, and don't worry, no funny hats! Then that night we went to town! Let the stories begin: First funny thing, got a text from Toni askin if she could bring her cousin, bein a nice guy I said yes, MISTAKE, this chick turned up at my house that evening before we went out with what can only be described as a pineapple on her head and eyebrows that looked like they had been drawn on with a magic marker! Me and Dan made up a wicked song about her . . .  Anyways we went down town and started in a new bar called "Red" something an oriental bar with very funky decor, was cool, had a few beers, vodka's and sambuca's in there while watchin the Argentina Mexico game which went to extra time. There was quite a few of us out includin JB, Dan, Matt, Unc P, Scott H, Toni, Pineapple head, Chris, Jodie, Laura, Emma, Steve, Mel, Claire, Simon, Nicola, Lewis and others I didn't really know! As you will have notice Helen was not there, she was out with her mates from work for a leavin do, this meant Matt was bouncin off the walls in top form and when we moved on to Road House even the DJ commented on him saying "So who is in control of him then, is he on day release?". So on to Road House as the que for moons was half way up the street and probably went into Subway! Was very funny in there, Mel decided her stilettos were not comfortable on one foot so swapped shoes with JB but just on the right foot for a good 20mins, very fetching! Toni was so pissed she was trying to dance with  and grope every male that moved, much to Scot's delight but even more for Unc P! Dirty hoe, we all have a new found dis-respect for her! Also bumped into Lisa in there. The night ended with everyone dancin round the girls handbags in a general state of paralytic! So drunk we bought Kebabs instead of Subway, except for sensible Mat and Dan. Dan ended up back at JB's but because Unc P was stayin too JB and Dan had to share a bed! End of a CRAZY night! SUNDAY - FOOTYBALL! JB n Dan went to town on Sunday morning with surprisingly not too bad hangovers to get some more holiday stuff. Then Dan went home to watch the footy with his Dad while JB went to a BBQ at John and Jane's. Wahoo, super Dave Becks with a wonder freekick, shame about the rest of the game but job done! Then it was on to the Birchtree BBQ for a few relaxin bevies before collapsing in bed after a wicked but knackerin weekend, man I'm shattered just typing all this. . . PREVIEW OF NEXT WEEK - Well it's Chili Peppers time, yeehah! Then I would imagine a relaxing weekend before we fly out to sunny MEXICO, bring it on!!!!!!! Will we meet any more girls with hairstyles shaped like fruit?! Will they let Matt out the asylum to come to Cancun? and will Dan be able to go out in Mexico without flying home each night to stay at JB's house?!!!!!!!
