Well here we are back from a long spell away from the journal, thought it was about time we updated you on crappy Maidstone life. This weekend seemed to go by soo quickly! FRIDAY - JB and Dan went to the Smith residence for hair cuts, we started shaving Dan's head, did the back and sides and then decided it looked good with some length left on top, in the end it did look well cool as you will see in our photo's. Had a cuppa tea and a bit of a chat with Kath and the Trevmeister. Their new kitchen and front room is wicked, looks like a show home! Once all trimmed up and looking sharp we ventured on to Steve A's pad for drinks as his parents are away in China, stayed there quite late. SATURDAY - I (JB) was on the bench for the first team again, yet again did not get on the pitch which is getting really frustrating now, they lost 1-0 which makes it even more annoying as the strikers they are using cannot seem to score goals!! Due to the loss, we are all now pulled into training on Tuesday as punishment as well as the usual Thursday. No doubt Tuesdays session will be all running! A Maidstone fans comment on the clubs message board - "i would have liked to see andy hart and jason batt given a shot, they couldnt have been any worse than anyone else. at least they are likely to work hard to impress, certainly andy hart always works hard and i'm sure jason batt would have done the same!" Saturday night was of course Jody's party, there was well everyone - JB, Dan, Matt, Helen, Steve, Emma, Claire(Gem's sis), Chris, Jody, Brad, Stu, Andy, Nic, Lewis, Unc P, Nick M, Barry, Brin, Some of Dan's work peeps, and a whole load more! The party itself was really good, we all had to wear VIP wristbands to get in, started off with the lights up and poor music but as the restaurant closed they dimmed the lights and pumped in the tunes from the DJ downstairs, steadily drank all night and didn't leave until 4am! Then went on to get a Subway mmm! SUNDAY - JB played footy in the morning then slept for the rest of the day! Dan who slept on JB's floor got up at 1pm, apparently after the best nights sleep he's had all year and went home to veg out in bed with his paper and the TV.
