So here it is our first journal entry from sunny Maidstone. Two weeks in to life without our other halves and while it was tough things are starting to improve although we both have our moments. . . It's Monday and we've come back to work off the back of a packed weekend(it's good to keep busy): FRIDAY - Went out with Nick Beaumont, Nic and Wilis for a few birthday drinks for the little stoner boy. Well a few birthday drinks turned into a RANDOM night indeed, got smashed and ended up dancing in Subs(yes Subs! Even JB) to a cool selection of tunes. Got a subway and went back to the Batt residence, Dan did not finish his subway! But that would all change . . . SATURDAY - The quiz night - our team - JB, Dan, Steve, Nic, Wilis, Mel, Laura, Emma(Laura's mate) and Phil. We DIDN'T come last! Ok we came second to last but it's an improvement! Was well funny, we ended up throwing food at the other tables. After it finished we all went back to JB's pad to carry on the boozin while listenin to some cool tunes(new chili peppers album) till 4am! Oh yeah, when we got back, Dan got Friday nights Subway out the bin in JB's room and finished it(apparently it was good)! STOP PRESS - Steve has become very keen on Laura's mate Emma, wow I here you say Steve actually taking an interest in one of his conquests, more to follow on this as it develops. SUNDAY - Did some shooting for the new RTTS DVD, it's starting to come together but RTTS is next week and there is lot's to do. Matt put a deposit down on a Nissan Skyline, picks it up next week, as you can imagine it's all he talks about! Went to Gem's house for a BBQ in the evening (although it's called Laura and Mel's nowadays :-( ). Was good spent most of the night laughing our heads off at Mel taking off Brucie. More on that Steve story, he spent the entire evening flirting with Emma and it looks promising they were very coupley, hands on knee's etc although no heavy petting to report soo far, but he did take her home so you never know, more on this when we have it. A PREVIEW OF NEXT WEEKEND - Well next weekends plans revolve around Steve's new conquest, it's her 21st so we are out for drinks in town for that on Friday and then a party Saturday. Will Steve commit? Will Dan start eating other stuff out of bins? and will J ever convince Pigeon to let him watch the football instead of Bananas in Pajamas?!
