When I arrived at the bridge it was freezing and foggy. So many people have told me to do this walk as it will be a great experience. So I was excited and ready to do it, I started the walk and I couldn't see a thing, just fog. I suppose the cool thing about it was walking and looking up at how tall the bridge is then looking out into the ocean and seeing how far up you are. The other amazing thing was meeting so many interesting people on the way and asking them why are you here? They reply the same thing, I have been told to do this as its a great experience.
I met one guy, called Adam. He was telling me about the infrastructures of the bridge and how much it weighs and what the material is. I found some of it interesting but I think that was because he had such a cute accent. I just kept agreeing like you do when you just don't want to embarrass yourself either. I mean it was good too, as I felt I had a tour guide with me walking the bridge.
The experience kicks in when you have walked back and into the gift shop and a lady says so did you do the walk and an emotion inside of you is making its way out of you when your saying yes I did. Then getting a stamp in your National Park Passport and a souvenir postcard.
You then feel like a proper tourist!
