Crikey! What an awesome day. We caught the train from Brisbane to beerwah to visit the Australia zoo, home of the crocodile hunter, the late Steve irwin. It's a great place, not like other zoos I have ever been to, the animals have huge enclosures and the zoo, which was started by Steve's parents in the 70s and was original 4 acres is now over 100 acres and still growing! Today we left the gold coast and headed to Brisbane. The coach journey was a relatively short one, and a DVD was being shown which pleased me, a gripping story starring Denzil washington who has a son who needs a heart transplant and he takes hostages in a hospital to get treatment for his son, towards the end of the feature the DVD started skipping and was eventually turned off by the driver at the height of drama, so frustrating!
