Today was a leisure day so the Hiltons decide to go into the town of Montecatini for morning tea, which consists of espresso, cappuccino & beautiful cakes.. OMG I'm in heaven , you all know that I love cakes......it's very unusual drinking coffee standing up here in italy as in Australia we are so not used to it ....the coffee is good really good but I suppose any great coffee would taste fabulous after 3 weeks of none at all( I remember some of our friends telling me before we left Australia that the coffee is absolutely crap in Europe & they returned as tea drinkers.....well they were right) we are so excited to walk around the town looking also for WIFI.... We go into a cafe download all of our emails & continue on our journey as you only get 5 minutes of WIFI... MMMM nothing like rushing..... it's so difficult not to have technology in the villa ....but we have toughed it out.. Barely.. Lol... We love WIFI.....

Proud to say that I'm driving like a local now in our little zippy car up & down the tight corners & narrow roads in Tuscany & on the opposite side of the road & on the opposite side of the car ,,even the gears you change with your right hand & our car is also a 6 gear box....( why is it so difficult) but I'm happy to say I have stepped up to the plate & have risen to the challenge & I have conquered Italy so far.... when we arrive they are packing up, just our luck so Jeni & I go on this mad dash around the markets trying clothes on in the heat, it was funny... It wasn't as hot today about 32 degrees the last few days have been 36/37 degrees ....... We have been blessed with the weather our whole trip ( except London) as Europe has been sweltering.....
When the girls return we have lunch sit around the kitchen table have a mid arvo chat & start to pack our bags for our journey tomorrow to Rome ...
Tuscany has been extremely relaxing & the villa IL CERRITOIO has been a stunning villa to spend our week on our European journey..., however I certainly will not miss the winding narrow roads leading up to the mountain top to get home each day.... Lol...we will remember the fabulous cooking class/dinner that was cooked for us by Lido & Antonelle for ever......good night Tuscany we will miss looking out our bedroom window looking at the bright lights every night ... !!!!!
