Well we wake early to get into the cars to get to the local train station . We got lost a few times so we ask for directions, when we find the station we need to pay at a parking meter we pay 8 euros for 8 hours , for some reason our ticket only goes till 1.30 pm ( whom knows why) so we pay another 2 euro to take us to 10 hours but that ticket only takes us to 1.30 pm,... Apparently they check the tickets daily in this town so we leave the others at the train station race to get change from a shop where there is nothing really open as its Sunday , then I find a lovely lady whom changes a note for change we fly back to the meter pay another 10 euro in change which now the third ticket only pays up to 3.30 pm....... This place is so frustrating.......we arrive in Florence at 11 am & we meet our guide, she speaks wonderful English & she's lovely..... It's a walking tour 6 hours in fact & it's very warm outside....... We visit churches , museums, have a beautiful 4 course lunch , look at statues & statues & more statues , the guide also takes us for Gelato which is always a favourite with the boys ..Florence is a beautiful place , it's so lovely,,,, lots of beautiful shops everywhere........time is getting on & we need to buy groceries to take home & get on the train , so we start racing around, buy our train tickets race to the platform which we only have 4 mins ( picture 8 people running in a train station with groceries in their hands, so funny)... We make the train , find our cars once we get back to Montecanini & drive home back to the villa up the steep road, cook pasta for dinner watch a movie , & lights out before midnight...!!!
