The man at the front desk replies that our journey in the cars should take 2 & a bit hours , so we walk into the square & get some supplies to take with us.... That motorway is so scary ... After driving two hours & not seeing any familiar signs at all , we jump out the cars & realise that the man at reception was totally wrong it's a five hour drive.....& it has been another long day... We haven't really had a good breakfast or linch( the food over here is totally different to home which we knew but it's very different) my head is still pounding & I'm still not 100% after driving on motorways all day up winding hairpin bends we finally find our destination & its stunning, the view is breathtaking we are so high ... It's around 7.30 pm we have no food at all
Only water & wine & I'm certainly not having alcohol with the way I feel.. We sit outside looking at the view for a while when we all say our good nights in beautiful Tuscany ...!!!
