HARBIN, Heilongjiang Province:
We had another free day today, so after a loooong lie in, I headed out to Harbin City with Liz, Alexis, Adrian, Helen and Amy.
We went to see the Church of Saint Sophia, which was a beautiful building. Very Russian architecture I thought! We didn't go inside as the church is now an art museum, and you had to pay to get in.
We then went for a wander round Walking Street - bumped into Ali, Sarah and Ed (which Ali said would never happen because Walking Street is so big! Nuh to him, I was right!) and then went for a Big Pizza lunch. Was so tasty - cheese pizza (not quite as good as JD's), salad, chips and garlic bread!
Also came across some mass aerobics in the middle of a busy street... very bizarre! It seems this happens quite a lot in China - they're very into their exercise!
