Mt Cook to Rangitata - 14th to 15th December 2011
So today it's all change. Our trip from Mt Cook to Rangitata was as miserable as our mood.
After saying bye to Team Sweden in Christchurch we both continued to Rangitata.
Rangitata is renowned for its beach and dolphins, for which I was really looking forward to after being blown out in the Bay of Islands. But this was not to be, so instead myself and Georgie checked into separate hostels (there is a reason for this) met up with Ibra for the rest of the day. Dinner was served by yours truly and we ended the night swapping movies and music (proper backpackers now) before I carried out the manful task of walking Gerogie home and saying our goodbyes. I won't lie - this was one of the saddest days of my life and almost up there with the death of Helen Daniels. But as they say a dog is for life and not just for Christmas. Therefore I'm sure I'll be seeing Georgie again (Oh come on it's a JOKE!).
PS. I still have my stones Georgie ;-)
