First impressions of this city are good, kind of a poor mans Milton Keynes. They have a similar grid system in place which opens up the city quite well, very much a relief after the manic Delhi.
After popping to the hotel which is a bit pricy for what it is, but quiet (thank god) we hit the shopping area.
I get a new book and I barter over some straighteners and a travel hair dryer. She misses hers so I treat her.
We grab a bite to eat from a bakery that does these really tasty chicken curry filled coasaunts.
Later we go back to a very good Indian restaurant for a curry, washed down with a couple of kingfishers. Loverly.
