I was dreading the train journey before we got on, if the station was anything to go by it was going to be a long 4 hours!
To my surprise the 2nd class carriage was nice- clean and well appointed. What was even more of a surprise was the included bottled water, tea service as you can see in the picture and lunch provided.....all for £10 for the both of us! British rail really need to improve to catch up with these guys.
Some of the country side is stunning. Some rolling lush green fields with grass huts built in a circular fashion every now and then
but if you ever come here close your eyes for the first 20 mins out of Delhi. As you pass the rubbish slums....we were especially treated as we went past the slums as the people who live there were taking their morning rituals as we went past around 730. I hate peeing in a busy toilet in the Uk, these guys just squat in the area they are working, defiantly staring at the trains. Hundreds of them.
