So, apologies for not having updated the blog in many days but things have been a bit busy at the house. We finally seem to have found people to move into our place when we leave, and it’s none other that our friends Henna and Simon!
While Simon has been busy at work, Henna came to the conclusion that if it didn’t bother us, she would start making the house a bit more………well Henna style. So she went off and bought blue paint and one day she started painting one of the walls of the house. We had to go do a visa run, because our visas have to be renewed every month. So when we came back the wall was almost finished and Eva started helping Henna paint the window frames as well. Lisa came over to the house and the girls just had a fun “painting day”. The window frames and the wall both look great!
After doing 3 visa runs for our extention we decided to go to a nice place to enjoy the Kuta sunset. A now very popular place to hang out is a new place on double6 road called la Plancha. A spanish style wood cabin on the beach with beautiful beanbags and a very cool loungey vibe has become a local favorite.
We ended up hanging around for a couple hours, drank some mango juices and watched the sunset. It’s funny that although we are ready to go back home, after being in a place like la Plancha, we know that when we look back at the photos when we are in Finland we are going to miss this place.
So off we go, to enjoy a bit more of the sun and waves because we only have 1 and a half months left.
