Maria picked us up at 9am and walked us to the mane coffee shop in the neighborhood where we had breakfast the Marco, who has a taxi, drove us up to the top of the mountain to see la Signora de Lourdes- and the view. The down to the Duomo that wasn't open. Marco left us to walk around and we made our way to the church of st Anastasia, a most impressive church inside! And while we were there they were tuning the organ for the Christmas mass tomorrow. We walked a bit through the city to Juliet's house and saw a young lady being proposed to.. Then Joey and I stood in front of the gate with locks that lovers purchase and sign to lock their love to each other in eternity. Lunch was at a wonderful bar where a relative (Nico) of Fabio's works and we had such good foo! We shared lasagna, eggplant parmigiana, meatballs, and chicken curry- and each one was delicious. We did a bit of window shopping, saw the ancient arena, encountered an ancient soldier, and looked for a taxi to go back to Fabio's. After resting for a bit we went grocery shopping for provisions for when we are in the house instead of out and about. After shopping of course Alice calls and says lets go for pizza! So we went with Alice, her son Mario, and Alice's friend, who was also named Fabio, last name Conti! We ended up miles away and Alice said we were probably the first tourists to eat there! We had individual pizzas for 7€ each - excellent pizza! We drove back to the house, and - no heat. No hot water. Argh!!! We bundled up and slept in layers...
