We slept until 9am (won't b able to do that tomorrow!) had breakfast, tool our showers. And off to the local train station. We used the senior cards we bought yesterday. : )) the local train stops at maybe 10 towns before the 5 known as Cinque Terre. And the loudspeaker in our car either is very quiet or doesn't work at all. As I am facing backwards it is Joeys job to get us off the train. What a beautiful say! It started out overcast so that made cooler and we took a bus from mom DelGrosso up into the hills up to the top of the mountains so we could get an overview of the city. We then took the boat for Monterosso the real majority so we could see the entire coastline and it was just beautiful. I managed to get from the ocean up the mountain to the place where we could have a very late lunch at 5 PM of pizza with pesto something I'd never had before and it was Delicious. Once we pay we will take the train back to Genova to pack. We found the train; entered and sat. After a while a conductor (conductress?) came by to check tickets. Turns out we should have punched our tickets on the way into the train - She gave us a pass. She said that if we don't punch our tickets we could be fined €50 each! It could have been a costly mistake. Luckily she took pity on these senior citizens who are traveling in Europe..
