Day 18 fruit picking - Today was just another day on the farm. I am enjoying driving the UTE around though in between picking, it seems like when we get super busy I may not be doing much picking at all, which sounds like a bit of a promotion to me! Day 17 fruit picking - Just the normal routine of up at 6am and work at 7 again today. However at work I was shown how to drive the ancient 'UTE' (which I need to get a photo of!) to take the strawberries from the patch to the packing shed. I dont know how old the thing is, but it has a column shift manual gear box, and the entire inside has falled apart, i would guess atleast 40 years old.. Day 16 Fruit Picking - Today was just another day at work, nothing eventful happened. It was like April showers on and off all day, broken up by sunshine. A lot of the fruit has been trashed by the rain so it's hard work to get it all of the plants.
