Everyone was together for our lesson at 9:30am this morning so we had a lay in and late breakfast. The surf was tiny again - 1ft max and cross shore. Today was a super chilled laaaazy day. My lesson was at 9:30am but I got woken up and couldn't sleep by 7:30am so just got up, had breakfast and checked the surf etc (hense the photo of Dave and Val). So I did stay up for some Goon last night, but in the end I was super tired by about 11pm and went to bed. Got up at 7am this morning despite it being a Saturday as we were expecting the waves to be really good. In the end Joja, Val and I walked to malwaraa but it was huuuge and closing out so we surfed down the beach at Arrawarra instead. It was a clean 3ft which was fun but not as good as expected. After I got out there was a shark spotted near the shore at Arrawarra so all the lessons were pulled out the water etc. which all caused A bit of excitement. Just chill...
