hey hey hey everyone!!!!
sorry for the slackness in posting our next blog, we have been pretty pretty busy!
so the after we went to the forbidden city ect we got up bright and early, it was about 8am(waaaaaay too early hahaha!!) and got picked up to go to the...GREAT WALL!!
after an hour and half of driving through beijing countryside, and overtaking on the wrong side of the road/s***ting ourselves we arrived at the great wall. have forgotten the exact name of the section of the wall we went to but it was amazing!!! we will try ut up pictures later..we took a cable car up thee, it was pretty high up and adam (being scared of heights) didnt deal too well with the poor construction that went into the cable car haha!
it was sooo hot by the time we got up there, so needless to say we were in dire need of a shower!! we climbed up and down for about an hour and a half = very sweaty!!! and only at the end as we were leaving we found a flat setion of the wall haha, it was sooo steep, chloes calves were killing her the next day (clearly not a natural born athlete).
after that we went off to lunch and were btreated to another feast!!
in the after noon, after a snooze in the cr on the way back into beijing we headed to downtown beijing. we got a ride on a rickshaw through the streeets and later on got to go the drum tower. the view from up the top of this tower covered alot of beijing, it was amazing!!! after that we were luckty enough to go to a chinese tea house, it was the best!!
anyway our internet is just about to run out...so we have to go explore italy....
we will continue the story later this afternoon
