Sitting in Qasid using their internet
I love the Arabic Language and all of its intricancies, subtleties, and expressions. If I were to master a language I'm glad this one would be the closest I will come to. I find that sometimes it comes easy when at other times I am completely lost. My goal is to one day pick up a book on just about any subject and read it. I'm really looking forward to knowing whether we are going to S.A. or not because we still don't know. This is stressful because I have an exam to study for, a trip to plan with Laura, and either worry about SA, or Lebanon. Either would be fantastic but I would love to know for sure. Planning is essential in trips, especially to countries you have never been to. I hope Ahmed is able to get everything he needs to get done accomplished so we can see him in S.A. On a side note I would love to learn how to fly a plane, so I'm going to try and learn through flight school DVD's! This has kind of always been a skill I would want to acquire but the only thing holding me back has been time, money, and the convenience of it all. Since I have alot of interests, this one has not made it to the top of my list. Did I mention that I cannot wait until Laura gets here?! She had a slight fiasco with her passport and had to get her maiden name changed to her proper name before she could fly! I'm glad she looked at her passport when I asked her to scan it for the trip. She is in New Orleans right now with Daphne and it sounds like they're having a pretty good time :) I'm glad we have such good friends and I have missed their company. When this trip is over I might have travelled to 5 new countries (Amman, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Israel, and Bahrain) If not S.A. and Bahrain then definitely Lebanon. I think this will be good for the future of my career and not a problem with the FBI because they will have all of the proper documentation of the trips in my passport as well as documents I am saving on my computer and in e-mails. Our water went out again today which is not cool. However, I'm not fasting today, so I have more energy for studying. It's time to get down to business now that the Imtihan (test) is close. I'll be taking it on Thursday.
THE END (for now)
