June 25 Friday 4:15 PM (Sitting in apartment after the roof)

Last night was fun, we went to WasaT Al Balad (Middle of the country) and ate some humous, fool (beans), french fries, and falafel. I found a tea that I liked and it had a mint stem in it. We shopped around some at the local stores because the prices are better than in the tourist type places. We came back around 10 something, and I talked to mom on Skype. Afterwards Cameron, Adam, and I watched Sherlock Holmes, smoked Hookah, and made popcorn with a glaze made of sugar, syrup, and cinnamon, it was excellent!! Today we woke up late, which is the norm here, people stay up late and sleep in. I went and bought some groceries, we ate some lunch, and then ventured onto the roof to catch some rays and study a little. Tonight we're going to a Souq (market) in the Second Circle and walking down Rainbow Street, which is supposed to be a really nice part of town. On a couple of side notes I have really bad mouth ulcers from dehydration (even though I'm drinking about 4.5 liters a day) and they hurt really bad.
