So I've been back in Montpellier for about a week and a half now; and after the initial sadness of having to leave everyone I'm now enjoying the good life again.
Well, I say that, but there are several things that displease me at the moment. Firstly, several friends have left; either to complete their second semester in Italy/Spain etc or to return home. One of my best friends here CA sadly returned to Norway, and I can safely say there will be less laughter, food, photos and of course 'personal questions' this semester! Also, the fact that lessons started on Monday is equally depressing, and I'm doing harder litterature based ones this semester so I can have Thursday afternoon and Friday off.
In order to combat these dark days LA, ME, GL and IN went to have dinner at MA's on Friday. A delightful 3 course meal of culinary delights accompanied by medley of wines meant that we were suitably full by midnight. We then decided to go to Cargo in the centre and so LA could meet the Numeral. To cut a very long story short, the night ended with the Numeral par terre outside my residence while LA tried to persuade him not to sleep there for the night and Saturday I had a rendez-vous with a garçon who after glancing at me about 3 times in Cargo asked for my number, with neither of us knowing name or nationality of the other. A potentially embarassing situation (if he ending up being the elephant man) which thankfully turned out OK.
