No spelling mistakes. One of my cousins Slavica lives in Kirchberg and the other Mira lives in Kilchberg, Switzerland. Today we simply travelled from Slavica's place to Mira's home. The best thing about the day was the exceptionally cooling swim John and I had in the Zurich See once we arrived in Kilchberg - the lake is a short walk from Mira's place. The temp today was about 38 degrees - hot, damn hot for Switzerland.

A lot more narrow but extremely winding roads over 2 passes were conquered today. We stopped at Klosters, to view a fast flowing waterfal created from melting snow. John spotted a cable car and thought about going for a ride - but again forgot we were in Switzerland and the cost of such joys. Today we headed off to Bad Ragaz with the aim to see lots of mountains, a deep ravine & parts of Switzerland into which we haven't ventured. Left Germany & Ljubica & Mato at about 10.15am this morning. Headed off to Switzerland to visit Slavica (another cousin) and her family. She lives just over the border from Germany. We drove alongside the Bodensee (a massive lake) that cuts accross Germany, Switzerland & Austria. A great place to stop for lunch & we did. The weather forecast for today was 24 degrees and sunny. Mira phoned a friend who has a good knowledge of places to visit. So we headed for the hills. Amden was our destination. The mountains surround a lake - Balen See. It was a pearlescent aqua colour. Everything was so lush and green that the photos don't do it justice.
