After a long journey from Bangkok to Samui, then a ferry to Koh Pha-ngan we finally arrived. We got to our resort, Charm Beach, which was beautiful. Well second week of volunteering was just as good as the first. We carried on with the same teaching routines as the previous week. However this time we taught the children the Okey Cokey which they loved and got really into it. By this week we all had our favourites and felt a lot more settled in. So we started our first week with the children on monday. We begin everyday by teaching the children the english alphabet, numbers, shapes and colours. We then do some singing. It is very difficult to communicate as none of the childdren speak english but our sco-ordinator is very good at translating and we have been learning some thai aswell.
