Arrived in Phuket on the 11th. We were quite late arriving so were not able to explore until later! We looked around some of the markets an walked along Patong beach. The area seemed to be pretty touristy but the hotel we were in was quite out the way from all the hussle and bustle! Our hotel room was by far the best we have stayed in as it was equipt with a mini bar, ccomputer and free internet! It was great for the 200 baht price we payed. Later we ate out at an Italian which was really nice.

The following day we woke up early and went to Kata beach to surf and jet ski! The surfing proved much more dificult than expected but the jet skiing was really fun and a good price too. We stayed on the beach for most of the afternoon before heading back to the hotel. We ate at the hotel resurant for convienience as we had an early start the next morning to Koh Phi Phi.
