Esther Megan, you took the words right out of my mouth on so many points. I too was bflafed by some of the comments from other bloggers at the conference. Lewis, please know that not all travel bloggers are of the same mindset, even if some of us are more vocal than others. That we are such an un-homogenous group makes your job harder, but I think you've taken a big step in the right direction with this call to action. Don't worry about pleasing all the bloggers; worry about building meaningful working relationships with those whose goals match up well with those of you and your clients. I'm enjoying the conversation.
re: photo from 17 June 2012Mia Archer is right about the information but I rlelay think she is optimistic about the rates of the hotels . Mykonos is rlelay expensive this time of year and I think you would be lucky if you find room cheaper than 120 Eur per night..

re: photo from 11 July 2012Sano Raxit: Absolutely, it does take a fair bit of self-convincing and to pave your own path@Paras: I think vision and wonkirg smart, with flexibility is what i'd define as the key elements not luck. Tell me one guy who's been lucky and made it big? I cant think of too many.Swaroop and a fan: Unfortunately so. Lets hope things change.Follower: Glad it makes a difference.Ashish: There are a whole lot of logistical ground work one needs to do and be prepared to toil for a lot longer. Lets start with the basics first Lux: It shows that you've been through it mate. Glad to see you here.

re: photo from 11 July 2012Ema YES! Great piece, keep up the terrific work. This is the type of intoamrfion that should gain recognition for it's craft. More writers should learn from you. This is right on the money.

re: Koh Sok National Parkrizky David, thanks so much for leivang a comment and for your initial post. I totally agree with the above. I think the challenge is writing about well loved, good things, but in new, exciting and engaging way. The perspective needs to change not the view.

re: Koh SamuiChin Tatiana I'm around your weghit, and have been loving the new fuel belt. It has 4 8oz bottles, and each bottle area has padding on the inside no rubbing if you get a small. I wear it at waist level, not hip level. A local female ironman recommended it, and I never run a long run without it here in Florida.Dean I started and finished your Ultramarathon Man book in one day can't wait for the new one. Congrats on Badwater!
