Got to Koh Sok National park Monday afternoon, but because we were all pretty tired from travelling we decided to chill out at the resort. We were taken to our accomodation, finding that they literally were sheds on stilts! We both thought they were great as they were right up in the trees overlooking a beautiful view of the reinforecst. They were pretty basic but hey at least they had a mosquito net! We sat up playing card games for the rest of the evening, then got ready for an early start in the morning.

Tuesday morning, we were all up and ready for breakfast at quater to 8 as the transport into the reinforest left at 8 for our expedition. We stopped of on our way at a food market, where our tour guides bought some food ready to prpare for us later. Once this was sorted we headed straight for the lake docks. A long tail boat took us down the turquoise lake through the beautiful mountains and reinforests to some lake shacks with a pier. We were left to jump in to the lake and chill around the shacks for an hour until our lunch was ready (prepared freshly by our tour guides, it was lovely)

After lunch we got back on the long tail boat and headed towards the reinforest. We pulled up against a bank and started our trekking. We went through jungle trees, mud, bushes and rivers too ( where cat was almost taken by the current). We were introduced to lots of bugs and lizards on our walk. Our tour guide even made us fern crowns and painted our faces with clay to look like we were in a tribe, it was so lovely. We finally got to the waterfalls and captured a few moments on camera where we were stood and sat in the waterfall itself! This was our destination as the caves were cut off because of all the water, so we started our descent back to the boat and then back to the lake houses. We were given time to change into clean clothes before we set of back to our accomodation. (which turned out to be a waste of time as it rained the whole way back to the taxi. We got home quite late so decided to stay on site again as once again we had an early pick up to take us to Phuket!
