Right temples in Bangkok, what can we say but wow! They are amazing and have the most incredible monuments and artwork. We saw 3, and had to get a boat across the river to get to one which was interesting to say the least.
We spent the day looking round the temples and got some great photos. The evening we went out for dinner with the volunteer group and a few drinks down Koh San Road which was good to get to know everyone.
Sunday we left at 10am to get a 7hr train to Surin. It was tedious but was interesting to see some of the country as we went along. Plus the food was amazing as well on the train.
We arrived in Surin and we were met by the volunteer company and transported in a truck (very interesting). We went out for dinner in the evening and chilled ready for the busy week ahead.
Its amazing how they are built. We enjoyed it so much. Harriet was interviewed by some Thai school girls learning english which was funny to watch!
Having trouble uploading photos onto the blog but which try and figure it out.
