Decided to go to Glenelg today, its a little beach town just out of Adelaide, but theres a tram service that takes you right to the beach so even i cant get lost!! it was a beautiful day, so i did a little but of sunbathing (not much, iv learnt that lesson already!) then had a potter round the town. lots of nice little shops and cafes, i can imagine its very lovely at night too!

sat and had a soy milkshake - im starting to get used to the taste now - at a cafe right on the beach, and read my new book, the new shopaholic novel!! by the time i left the cafe id nearly finished the book....whoops!!

Got back to the hostel in time for the free bbq!! ate with Tina, another roomie i met this morning, Eddie, same as Tina, and Lee. After the bbq (my first in oz!) we all sat in the beer garden and had a few drinks, met some more people, Ben, Gemma, Alex, Oxford (real name alex but hes from oxford) and Henry, whos been at the same hostel for 5 months!! its a really nice hostel though, the best iv been in so far!! very friendly, and theres a big communal room where everyone hangs out, which i love!

after the bar closed at 10 we decided to go and seek out further boozing, and headed down the road to Austral bar. had a few there, made friends with the bartenders....always handy! we were planning henrys birthday bash on saturday, basically a big pub crawl starting with drinking games at the hostel....sounds like fun!
