Left the waterhole just after dawn as the flies and mozzies got a bit unbearable!
We went to Mount Dare, home to the most remote pub in australia. the 'settlement' has a population of 3! stopped there for a coffee and a snack, bought an aboriginal handmade necklace.
Crossed over the border from SA to NT, then went to Lambert Centre, the geographical centre of Australia! theres a big structure with an aussie flag which we all had pictures in front of, then walked to the top of a sand dune to look over the Simpson Desert.
had a long drive, full of singing, on the way to Kulgera. Here we had a look round an aboriginal art gallery, stocked up on booze and made use of the showers and flushing loos!! wow!! camped just up the road next to some biiiiig rocks, which we all climbed to watch the sunset, got some great piccies! ate kangaroo burritoes for dinner....yummy!
