The day started with a lunchtime concert at the church of St Martin in the Fields, presented by a number of young classical soloists.
After the concert the rain had stopped so I wandered through Trafalgar Square, just to find that everyone else was doing the same!
After a Thai lunch came a short river cruise up to the Tower Bridge. I think I was one of about 3 passengers who spoke English.
It was raining again and I disembarked, heading towards the Tower of London. It's big and commercialised, and I refused to pay the 20 quid admission, preferring to sample a pint at the nearby Dickens Inn, where I noticed on the big screen that the tennis had resumed at Queen's Club.
So I was off again, to the tennis, arriving in time to see the last 2 sets of a great quarter final match between Rafael Nadal and Jo-Wilfred Tsonga. Surprisingly Tsonga overpowered Nadal with plenty of aces and brilliant passing shots.
Tomorrow the semis.
