Up this morning and thought we'd get out early... Well Mama had a little sleep in the morning cuz Jesse was up for a 3am party. The little bigger squawked a little at first until i told him to lay down... but then he thought he could just stand up, jump & play without Mama knowing. As soon as I'd sit up and say "lay down".... THUMP he'd fall to the mat! 5 min later back up for his own little party again. Grrrrr. So hard to get mad though when it's so damn funny!
Anyway got out of Cannon Beach around 11am... Both wishing now we would have stayed another night. Oh well, next time. It's a beautiful spot.
Pushed on, and stopped in Tillamook for lunch. Found a really good local spot called Divine burgers. Was sort of a coop space shared by a bunch of local producers/artists/shops. Mom you would have loved it... A whole section on local yarns from sheep on Tilamook farms. I took a few pics for you... Check it out in the photos.
After lunch figured Jesse would zonk but 15 min later we came across the Tillamook Air Museum... An old navy blimp hangar that is filled with navy airplanes and helicopters. Think Jesse would nap in there? Uh no. Daddy & his kids were all over the planes. Too funny.
On the road again, Jesse asleep in about 5 min. Pushed through to Jesse Honeyman state park in Florence. Gorgeous spot. 2 miles of sand dunes in between here & the beAch.
Tomorrow we do the dune buggies - showed the pics online to the kids tonight... So excited. Jesse will be a FREAK tomorrow when he sees the rigs. Around here there's also the sea lion caves, an aquarium, "old town" Florence, and lots of other fun stuff. We'll try to do it all!
Planning to be here for 3 nights. Beautiful campsite.
Cold tonight... 10 C. Supposed to be 24 tomorrow but I think depends on fog
Hoping for sun! So far weather has Ben great.
