We had a great 2 nights in Fort Stevens. Yesterday we walked to the beach which we found out was a mile away. Some reason we thought it was 10 min walk/kids bike ride. Not so! 45 minutes later we had ditched the kids bikes, and we were carrying both! te beach was amazing. Check out some of the photos I posted. There's a shipwreck there still on the beach from 1906. Not much of it left now. Kids got soaked in the surf & waves, covered in sand. Luckily Livvys friends had also come by vehicle from the campground with their parents so we all got a lift back. Later in the eve the kids came to visit again. Then the parents showed up. Hours later we had dinner(flat iron steak yum), a few drinks, campfire, great visit. They're from Semiahmoo, we know people in common. Small world. Nice folk.
Today we arrived in Cannon Beach. Had lunch, saw the beach, and decided we'd stay the night at least. Beautiful place. Beach is ridiculous. Tucker was in heaven.
Kids are wiped. Bath & bed now!
Mama has to do some work tonight. ;-(.
Tomorrow we may stay or head down to Florence where the huge sand dunes are. Stay tuned!
