Got up at 12, got ready as today we wanted to go and visit the Batu Caves. Everyone recommends it and says its easy to get to!
Went to the food stall court in The China Town market. Had vegetable and prawn rice with an iced coffee! I think when I get home I'm going to have to go to rehab to get myself off iced coffee and also fresh lemon juice!
Went to go and look for the bus there, asked the receptionist, the ticket office and any random person which bus and where from and everyone said different. Someone even recommended going to the airport!! It's supposed to be 15 minutes away now 15 galaxies away!!
Looked for two hours around the centre of the town! It's a joke! How is this easy to get to when we can't even get off our street! It started raining, as it always does in the afternoon at about 2 here! Right on time! So we decided to give up!
Walked back to our hostel, the receptionist laughed at us, she always does though, if she had given right directions though we would have been there!
Walked to the bus station and booked a bus from Kuala Lumpur to Penang island for 35 ringgits (£7) which takes 6 hours on Sunday.
Walked to the internet cafe and tried again to confirm the Cage Rage dive with sharks for the following Friday! We had to fax and all sorts though! It's like the dark ages, who faxes anymore!
Went to the China Town market, we have both run out of perfume so I bought some Black XS for 25 ringgits (£5) and Michael bought Calvin Klein for 35 ringgits (£7), got a new mac mascara aswel!
The China Town Market is amazing! It sells everything you could ever dream of! It also sells A LOT of fakes! I would love it if I was on holiday not travelling! What I would give to throw my rucksack in the bin and buy everything in sight! Can't wait to clothes shop at the end of travelling! I will spend loads!!!!
Got back to the room at 10.30 after being at the market for to long!
We were bored so Michael searched for his scissors and decided to cut my hair! He thinks he is some sort of hair dresser! ;) haha I haven't had a haircut since I came travelling so it needed doing!
True travellers we cut it in the room then found a pillow in the hall way to use as a brush to brush it outside!!
We couldn't sleep at all! We have been like this since getting to Kuala Lumpur. Maybe it's because we went out every night in Saigon and our body clocks changed! Weird! Finally got to sleep at 2.30.
