It's gone mad here!
Woke in the night to sound of a howling gale - apparently it's known locally as The Doctor, as it's supposed to cure all ills - don't know about that - kept me awake half the night...and it hasn't let up yet - the sound of it howling through the ropes (or is that sheets) on the hundred or so yachts in the harbour is amazing.
Add to that the fact that it's 34degrees here - boy are we glad of it.
We tried sitting on Boulders Beach for a while but got sandblasted, so we walked on to Wiilis Walk and had lunch. Then back into Simon's Town and toured the Naval Museum - then another bar and now we're on the veranda again hanging on to the chairs:-))
