I made it here safely and with all my bags!! My big bag was 31.6kg - they let me off the 1.6! and my back pack they didn't weigh luckily! I have caught up with sleep now - 13hrs I slept for last night! I gave up and went to bed at half 5, but feel better for it now! 12hrs flight to singapore was LONGGGG!!...and I sat behind the only person on the whole plane who had the spot light on to read! But the other 2 flights I had a spare seat next to me so I could stretch my legs out abit more. Singapore airport was EPIC!! I was pretty much 3 cities split over 3 terminals and they had a butterfly farm and coy carp pond! Flying over the city was amazing, so busy and vast with hundreds of ships in the bay. My motel is pretty swish, cleaned daily with fresh towels and a nice little kitchen. And the bed has a heated blanket!!! - I don't really know how it works because half the bed stays cold?! I have just been into the town today to sort my bank and phone out. The shops are very similar - I haven't been into them to compare prices but food prices are slightly more but not too much. Meat is quite expensive from what I've seen so far but they sell things a bulk - so its like 6 chickens and 15 sausages! The weather is miserable! cloudy and drizzle. The clouds above look very scary and full of rain! I'm right in the valley with mountains either side of where I am. I haven't explored too much yet because of sorting all my bank and finding the shops and everything is massive so I can't really walk to much. My next mission is definitely to find a bike/car so I can out to see the things! I'm planning on catching the train to wellington on Friday so I'll have more to show you then.
