Den on the loose
NZ Day Seventeen
Its bungy day part deux, my jump was at 1pm today was the day where i finally get the chance to absolutley run full pelt and launch myself off the wooden ledge no holds barred and after speaking to Steve. F (Bell F) i had got my move sorted which would be a continous run all the way off and on the way down and back up.
I left for the jump at a stupidly early time but it meant that i was able to have a massive Skyline burger and lots of chips before my jump whilst i waited for Tim and Mark to walk up the ridiculously steep hill.
The time had come after getting harnessed in as i now knew what to do and because i was the first one there at the jump site i was the first to jump. So after all the formalities of picture shots had been taken by the bungy crew, i took an almighty big run up and ran as fast as i could and threw myself into the air and into the forest clearing below me.
Whilst performing my awesome moves and screaming at the top of my lungs from Die Hard Movie "Yippie kai yay mother ........." you can fill in the blanks which was apparently heard by all the spectators way above me in the restaurant.
It wasn't until after the jump that Mark told me on the first bounce back up i came to about 5m from hitting the metalbars above me.
After my spectacular Cliffhanger jump which looked absolutely pefect (and i'm gonna have to show you the picture when i get back home) i met up with the other lads and went luging.
As we all got our safety helmets on we all lined up on the track, so imagine it about 7 guys with their helmets in a plastic black luge like bobsleigh ready to cause havoc.
It was so hectic as at one point we all bundled together and hit each other and Mark got hit behind and Tim flew into the side barriers .
Today was good fun, well thats all i got to say about today.
See ya
