I'm up early again! 4am seems to be the witching hour for me here. I'm laying out on our villa deck on the chaise lounge just listening to the breeze and it's really relaxing. My husband is sleeping soundly. He needs his beauty rest:)
Yesterday leaving breakfast there was a local making origami out of palm leaves. I was admiring his work and when I got home from the beach yesterday there was an origami bouquet of flowers and a bird made of palm leaves waiting for me. They're so nice here. They remember things we say we like in passing, our favorite foods, what excursions we have planned and how we enjoyed them, ricks sunburn and how he needs aloe, and my sore shoulder and what kind of stretching will help it. Every little detail. And I love being called Mr. and Mrs. Lynn. It's just cool:)
The coconut tree and palms are of huge importance to Samui agriculture and Rick and I planted two trees yesterday for only 100 baht (about $3).
Speaking of baht, outside of the bubble of the Four Seasons, thailand is cheap! You can get a massage on the beach for only 300 baht for 90 mins. Thats $9! Were hoping to take advantage and do some swindling once we get to Bangkok. Just wait until I put my bargaining skills to work in the markets. I'm going to make my mother-in-law proud!
Last day in paradise awaits us and then off to the big city tomorrow! I'm going to be really sad to leave this amazing place, but Rick and I were both saying last night we are so happy we planned this trip the way we did. We have 2 new destinations that await us and many adventures ahead!
Going to live this last day to it's fullest!
Ethan, it's your birthday already in Thailand! Happy 2nd birthday to our favorite little peanut! We love and miss you!!!
