Breaky then Kobe, Max and Jack got dropped off by Craig. Poppy, Liam and the boys got in a taxi down to fishing place where they hired a boat for a couple of hours fishing- no one thought to take a camera of course.
Grandy, Rob and Wayne headed off to second hand stores to look for some jackets. Nothing worthwhile so into the Old Town for some shopping. Got back to hotel around 1pm and the others all back from fishing. Poppy was frozen to the bone as quite a fresh wind off the water and they hadn't dressed warmly enough. Caught some little ones but boys had a great time. All hungry so into the Old Town again. Stopped to buy Poppy a warmer jacket- no colours he wanted so then lunch at Ganesh (Indian Restaurant) yummy. Others back to hotel and Wayne and Rob found some beautiful lanterns to take home then met Grandy and Poppy at shop near hotel to find warm jackets. Wayne and Poppy both brought one ready for the cold in Sapa. Sue arrived back at our hotel after she finished work and Max, Kobe and Jack had had a swim in the hotel pool!! Lewis and Caitlyn turned up after having day at Ryan's. Then we all walked back into Old Town again, picking up our suits, lanterns, etc. along the way to dinner. Wayne and Rob checked out painting Wayne had organised to have done. Looks fantastic. It is a copy of the huge Buddha painting we had seen at Sailing Club at Nha Trang which we loved and taken a photo of. A painter was able to copy it. Wayne only ordered the day we got into Hoi An. Almost finished and they will bring to hotel in morning before we leave. Met Craig at ???? And all of us had a beautiful farewell dinner. Fantastic food but the thing this place was really famous for was the desserts. We all had one and they were outstanding. Even snavelled a dessert menu for Max to take home as he wanted to cuddle it! On way back picked up boys shoes that had been made then some sad goodbyes at hotel as we waved off the Ryan's. Kobe stayed at our hotel, think he was a little upset at saying goodbye to Max.
We have all had a fabulous time with the Ryan family- they are really settled and so happy. Thank you Ryan's - we have loved Hoi An!!
Got all packed ready for early departure tomorrow morning.
