Little bit later start to the day with breaky about 8.30am. Lewis off into the Old Town for shopping with Caitlyn. Poppy and Wayne went looking for a jacket and Grandy, Liam and Rob got a taxi out to see Sue's International Kindergarten she has been setting up with the owner. It is in an old resort so has a swimming pool as well. Looks absolutely fabulous. Light and airy with so much open space. If it was in Australia it would have a wait list to get in as it is so beautiful. Had some time with Sue with her little class then went to see the older class too.
Taxi back into the Old Town and did some shopping. Grandy and Rob's shirts and pants were ready and looked great. More DVD's and then headed to cafe where met Poppy, Wayne and Lewis to go to our cooking class. Lewis had already picked up his prescription glasses that had been made. They look great. Quick bite to eat then the class started. Off to the market first to learn all the different fruits, veges and other delicacies. Boarded small boat and cruised down the Hoi An river to the Red Bridge Cooking School which was lovely.
Our chef was very funny and we learnt one dish, then had to make it, then eat it. Learnt 4 dishes all together. Quick, snappy and so different to our last cooking class in Cambodia. Lots of fun. Poppy did really well and Wayne was best at the carving of food decorations.
On the return boat trip, Liam captained the boat and steered us home, right into docking at the market. He did a fabulous job.
Wayne and Lewis raced off to Craig's boxing class which Wayne thoroughly enjoyed seeing(and doing a little bit!). The rest of us walked home through Old Town stopping to do a little more shopping. Legs very tired by the time we got back to hotel at 7pm. Grandy and Poppy opted to stay in as really bushed and Liam, Craig, Sue, Wayne and Rob went for dinner at the Chip and Fish. Yummiest fish and chips and Wayne loved his stuffed squid. Reports back from Sue that Kobe had a great day at Max's school and staying at Ryan's again tonight. Of course Kobe never took his camera so no photos of his day.Lewis also stayed at the house and they were cooking potatoes on a fire they had made in the backyard.
Stopped at another DVD shop on our walk home.
