Yesterday we went to Bath which is named after the Roman Baths. We got an audio guide that gives you information as you wander around. It was amazing to see things so old. I tried the water and it wasn't that bad, you could taste the minerals. The main reason I did not like it was because it was really warm. The reason it was warm was because it has come up from deep in the Earth. The Romans believed that the Goddess Sulis-Minerva sent them the Hot Spring.
It did not rain which is amazing as it seems to rain a lot here. After the Roman Baths we went back to the car and drove around looking at the little streets and the Royal Crescent where you need to be VERY rich to live! Then we drove back a different way to Bristol. Mum and Dad keep telling Darcy and I to stop burying our heads in our books and lot look out at the countryside but all you can see are really big hedges.
