No allegiance to either team, but really nervous as we enter ground for first time. Amazing location, lots of old wooden shuttered bungalows around a modern ground, street actors, bands and parties on roads and in gardens. Ground itself has little roofing & shortage of toilets, but easy enough to move around. Rain as usual before game, but kept off then so we are getting home dry. But after midnight now, streets are buzzing, party party party.
Wanted France to win before match, but after red card and lack of French effort to win game, I cheered for Wales. So near to winning in the end.
Sunday match must be the "final", surely whoever wins will take apart the pretenders.
AND dad spotted a Pirates flag not too far away but we could not get over to them to chat. Looked around after game but no luck. Maybe tomorrow.
