Managed to change sleeper tickets to get 14.06, only problem is train to Plymouth, bus to St Austell and then a train. Anyway, better than the straight through train at 23.45. We will be in our own beds tonight!
This is my trip of a lifetime, supporting "my team" the All Blacks trying to win the World Cup.
Disappointed about the exit of Dan Carter, he must be gutted. But then it seems a small issue compared to events in Christchurch and the illness of Jonah Lomu.
No doubt this trip will be life changing, but how remains to be seen. Would be good to come back with more than memories, maybe make some friends that I keep in touch with. Maybe meet some players, maybe get asked to come back to play!
