Days 366-373, 13-20 June '15, Enjoying life down on the farm-let. We've had the grandest week with all our furry little mates here in Enniscorthy. We feel so popular that all the furbies seem to remember us (and fondly) from our visit at Christmas. Been a really quiet week. It's so quiet here that we are struggling to launch from bed at 8.30 am ish (officially the longest the doggies can cross their legs for if they go to bed at 9-10 pm). You really don't want to know what happens in the night cabin if we sleep in until 9 am. We know - it happened this morning. It's so unbelievably quiet here its incredible. There was no possible way to sleep like this in Marrakech - someone was bound to be making a racket by 8 am. Anyway, we've made two major excursions during the week - supermarket being the first. We're blessed with an Aldi and a Lidl next door to each other and it was fun to food shop for the first time in 5 weeks. Second excursion was the weekly farmers' market today - bought some zucchinis and some spicy salad mix. The chickens are laying their feathers off at the moment and the zukes are scheduled to end up in a bake that will use at least 5 eggs. We have chicks officially "due" tomorrow - can't wait to see the baby chickens. I had a lovely surprise yesterday after a nap. Hadn't planned the nap but dozed off reading a book. Didn't think I'd even slept that hard. But it gave James an hour to creep about putting together a surprise picnic in the garden - WOW. He led me out with my eyes shut and there was my surprise (see picture). Too much fun. We're planning a couple of jaunts this coming week. A castle, some caves. All possible. Can't believe I've been "on the road" for over a year now - James is officially over the six month mark. We're all set to head back to Spain on 5 July for 3 months and we are looking forward to it hugely. Then Turkey. And maybe Romania and Greece - but they're definitely not confirmed. What a year.
