Beautiful Boy
Close your eyes
Have no fear
The monster's gone
He's on the run and your daddy's here
Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful
Beautiful boy
Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful
Beautiful boy
Before you go to sleep
Say a little prayer
Every day in every way
It's getting better and better
Out on the ocean sailing away
I can hardly wait
To see you come of age
But I guess we'll both just have to be patient
'Cause it's a long way to go
A hard row to hoe
Yes it's a long way to go
But in the meantime
Before you cross the street
Take my hand
Life is what happens to you
While you're busy making other plans
Before you go to sleep
Say a little prayer
Every day in every way
It's getting better and better
Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful
Beautiful boy

Every twist and turn in bed last night seemed to bring on more aches and pains. Each move sent deadly pain like an electric shock through my back. At times I lay thee wondering if I woyld be able to walk in the morning. Somehow I did manage to get some sleep!
I got up this morning at 6 am and I was walking by 7am! I started out the walking with Oana but soon left her behind as she likes a slow pace and had a few blisters after yesterday! I walked for an hours or so on my own and then joined Libby a 22 year old student from New York! We walk for about 3 hours together!
I stopped for lunch in Zubiri before completing my journey in Larrasoana at 14:00 hours! 7 hours on the road and 27 km covered. The weather today was poor, grey skies, mist, drizzle and rain.
The views were virtually nonexistent due to the low cloud cover. Today's walk was mostly downhill but also with a few very steep inclines. Conditions under foot were wet muddy and heavy going at times. The albergue in Larrasoana is basic but clean and at €6 for the night it will do just fine! Today was laundry day as I'm am about to run out of socks and jocks, 4 of each for the month!!!
I go to the local bar / restaurant and spend some time writing. There is a table where a good drinking session is underway. I am joined by an American lady and we have a good chat. Later again I meet Sarah from Cork and she introduces me to her walking party. I eat with them to yop off a great day. A day in which my back held up despite my expectation that I would be struggling to carry my backpack.
